2021: Switch to 1C: Fresh

On October 6, 2021, GANDALF announced that it had determined the optimal solution for the ASTEKO Trade and Production Alliance - 1C: Fresh.

Customers of the Alliance are enterprises of chemical, energy, metallurgical, oil and gas industries, pipeline transport, housing and communal services.

The scale of the Alliance's work required qualitative changes in the organization's information system, which provoked a search for partners in the direction of automation. The task was formed - to create 20 jobs without linking to a fixed workplace. The choice was between buying a server with related software products or moving to the 1C: Fresh cloud infrastructure.

The definition of a supplier partner was a separate project phase for the Alliance. Given the negative experience, stringent requirements for reliability, speed and customer orientation were put forward. The Supplier had to meet the full range of 1C requirements and have a qualification confirmation - statuses.

Employees of GENDALF conducted a technical assessment, according to the results of which all the advantages were on the side of the cloud infrastructure. The determining factor was the structure of the Alliance, including several separate units. In comparison with the local server, "1C: Juice" does not demand additional software and hardware and their support and also has price benefit. The cloud solution is characterized by automatic updating of typical forms and databases.

The project was implemented in a short time - 1 month. As a result of the implementation of 1C: Fresh in business processes, the Alliance received 20 remote workplaces, which provided unhindered access to competent employees regardless of department. For the leadership of the Alliance, a number of operations have become more transparent, the speed of providing up-to-date information has increased. In addition to functionality, the customer received regular support, a consultation line, access to 1C webinars and knowledge base, and a means of additional communication within the company.

Migrating to the cloud significantly saves employee time. The implemented tool allows you to quickly exchange data between separate departments without the cost of servicing servers that require constant attention and are subject to obsolescence. In 1C: Fresh, the current forms of documents and declarations are always updated automatically, excluding additional actions on our part and accelerating the reporting process. The director always receives real-time and up-to-date information. New employees do not spend a lot of time studying the product - the functionality of forming commercial offers and prices has been added.
