The German chemical and pharmaceutical corporation Bayer installed in the Moscow office of the virtual secretary of Agat the Russian company Loftice, which announced this on October 6, 2021. As part of the integration, Bayer invested in technology that combined the functionality of a voice assistant with a digital avatar. The amount of investments is not disclosed.

Loftice, whose main specialization is the outsourcing of non-core business processes, has been collaborating with Bayer since 2014. During the pandemic, Bayer switched to a partially remote work format, so it was important for the company to make the office again attractive to employees. Loftice has proposed to Bayer Corporation the development of an individual digital assistant for the reception area.

Virtual Secretary "Agatha" combines the functionality of a voice assistant with a digital animated character - the avatar of a girl secretary. 3D model animation technology, actively used in the computer game industry, combined with speech synthesis and speech analytics based on neural networks, allows you to get the effect of living communication with a real person. Agate requires a connection to the Internet and electricity.

In addition to high-quality visualization and animation, a distinctive feature of Agatha is its readiness to be the first to start a dialogue. All that is required for this is to get into the field of view of "Agatha." The digital secretary of Agata effectively identifies the interlocutor and communicates even in a noisy and crowded room.

The main functionality of Agatha is a meeting of guests, informing the employee about visitors, providing general information about travel routes, weather, stores, switching incoming calls. Technically, dialogs are divided into two blocks - functional and common. Functional dialogs can be edited individually by the client in each Agatha device for specific tasks. General dialogues are universal and include a wide range of questions from weather forecasts and exchange rates to jokes and jokes.

Bayer always tries to follow the path of innovation both in solving business issues and in business issues. The innovative product that Loftice offered us fully reflected the concept and idea of ​ ​ the company. In the future, we are considering the possibility of abandoning employees at the reception - Agata will be able to effectively replace this function.
