In the metropolitan printing house "Printing Technologies" began work digital printing machine AccurioPress C14000. The launch of the machine was carried out by specialists of the Russian representative office of Konica Minolta, which announced this on October 6, 2021.

At the start, we worked with the AccurioPrint C3070L Konica Minolta machine, but we quickly realized that it did not allow us to compete effectively with other printing houses, "Vladimir Zaitsev explained the reason for the choice of equipment. - Therefore, the question arose of acquiring another, heavy machine that would allow printing faster, better, on a wider range of materials and, most importantly, with a lower cost.

After thorough testing at the Moscow showroom of the Russian representative office Konica Minolta, the printing house opted for the AccurioPress C14000, the flagship model in the manufacturer's line of sheet CPMs. The machine can print on materials with a density of 52-450 g/m2 (one of the widest ranges in this class) at a speed of up to 140 A4/min. or 80 A3/min, regardless of paper density. Sheets up to 900 mm long can be sealed on both sides automatically, and the so-called banners up to 1300 mm long can be fed from the bypass tray.

In "Printing Technologies" there is a machine with two feeding trays for sheets up to 900 mm long, a deckerler after the printing module, an intelligent module IQ-501 and a glass. In the future, it is planned to test the Konica Minolta finishing module, which will allow the printing house to receive notebooks at the output, ready for processing on a recently installed thread-seam machine.

With the launch of the C14000 AccurioPress, we received everything we wanted, "Vladimir Zaitsev shared his impressions. - It is very easy to work with the machine: it performs almost all the settings automatically, including controlling the print quality and maintaining it during operation. I note separately the possibility of obtaining prints with a high degree of haze, which our customers like. The Konica Minolta machine in combination with our fleet of post-printing equipment, which includes glue machines, including PUR, digital thread stitch, industrial laminator, will allow us to confidently enter the lower segment of the offset market and compete there for new customers. We provide no worse quality than in offset, and the low cost of printing on the C14000 AccurioPress will allow us to set competitive prices for our products.
