2021: Creation of a multimedia complex

The Beltel system integrator announced on October 7, 2021 that he had completed the creation of a multimedia complex for the Library and the STKAF art residence. The project used LG equipment, including OLED displays and SmartPlayer development software.

The Beltel integrator was tasked with creating a multimedia complex for demonstrating in an interactive and current format various cross-media educational content exhibitions, digital works of residents, as well as for information support during cultural events. As a result of the joint work of the management of the art residence, the district administration, specialists of the multimedia direction of the Beltel integrator and manufacturing companies, a solution was developed for organizing cultural leisure activities of city residents.

The created complex includes five objects: the interactive arch "Light of History" and "Lens of Time" at the entrance, multimedia columns, a cataloguing table (archive of residents' works), a video wall with the function of photozones with AR masks and design backgrounds, a mobile information screen.

For art objects "Light of History" and "Lens of Time," metal structures in the form of an arch were designed, on which six ultra-thin OLED profile panels with a diagonal of 55 'LG 55EF5G-L. The installation works in two modes. The main mode introduces visitors to the history of the district and the directions of the library. In the second mode, all screens that work as a single canvas display information about events. Visitors have the ability to choose content using special tablets.

The end of the input group of art space is multimedia columns - two pairs of Ultra Stretch ultra-large digital signage with a screen, a diagonal of 86 'and an aspect ratio of 58:9 from LG, model LG 86BH5F. On internal screens in the format of slideshows from photos and video materials, posters of upcoming events are shown. External screens are used to navigate the building.

An interactive table is located in the cafe area, with which visitors can get acquainted with the work of library residents in photo, video, text or audio formats.

The video wall consists of 11 multi-format LG liquid crystal panels 32 ', 43' and 49 'with augmented reality mechanics. Photos of visitors with AR effects are shown on the installation screens, there is also the possibility of sending them by e-mail.

The mobile information screen is used during events. On two sides of the OLED screen, the 55 "diagonal displays navigation, posters, and the work of library residents (photo, video, text). The content varies depending on the format of the event.

"CABINET" - a space of synergy, a center of new practices, a library that has gone beyond the standards. Thinking about the idea, we set ourselves ambitious, technically difficult tasks. The main goal was to create a library-based environment for creative projects without losing the function of the reading center. The introduction of technological solutions was a response to the request of a user who comes to the library in search of knowledge and momentum for professional, creative development. It was important for us to work on such a strategic issue with the professionals that we see in representatives of Beltel, LG and SmartPlayer. Complex solution of set tasks, personal initiative and deep analytical work of our partners made it possible to realize ideas in their best execution. In the person of the Beltel, LG and SmartPlayer companies, the Centralized Library System of the Krasnogvardeisky District, which includes SHKAF, found reliable, conscientious and responsible partners, "said Anastasia Guseva, head of the SHKAF Library and Art Residence.
