2021: Job upgrades

On October 7, 2021, X-Com announced the modernization of the workplaces of the administration, researchers and teachers of the A. M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to the company, due to obsolescence and the expiration of depreciation of a significant part of the fleet operating in the Institute of customer equipment, it became necessary to replace it planned.

The project contractor was identified during an open tender, the participants of which were Russian integrators and computer manufacturers. When considering competitive applications, the competition commission, along with the price assumption, evaluated the experience of candidates in implementing projects similar in complexity and volume for state scientific centers and educational institutions. X-Com was able to offer the most qualified and financially sound conditions for the project and was recognized as the winner of the competition.

The project used computers of its own production X-Com, due to which it was possible to ensure the appropriate ratio of their price and performance and minimize the project budget due to the lack of overpayment for excess functionality. Also included in the workplace equipment are monitors Philips 246E9QDSB with an expanded color palette and Full HD resolution.

The project was executed in strict accordance with the terms of the contract in terms of scope and terms. The reliability of the created solution is provided by the quality management system operating in X-Com, which complies with the international standard ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001-2008), as well as a multi-stage product testing system at all stages of its production. All equipment is subject to a three-year warranty.
