The project code-named is started by Artifact-Centric Service Interoperation (ACSI) in 2010, it is headed by research division of IBM in the Israeli city of Haifa. In its course experts of IBM will cooperate with colleagues from a number of the European academies and government organizations, including Royal college of sciences, technologies and medicine of Great Britain, the Technology university of the Netherlands, the Estonian University to Tartu and the Free university in Bozen-Bolzano, Italy and other consortium members.
The main goal of the international command consists in creation based on software open-source "basic new" in terminology of IBM of program "center" or "hub". This "hub" should provide automatic integration inputs for any "cloud" services. ACSI will also rely on so-called "dynamic artifacts" which reflect specific business processes.
The innovation architecture is designed to simplify process of mutual integration of electronic services and services to minimize labor input of integration of such applications with each other. Blue giant believes that it not only will allow to achieve optimal customization of solutions, but also will allow to reduce costs of their implementation by about 40%.
