2021: Implementation of AWS

On October 14, 2021, X-Com announced the completion of a project to introduce automated workplaces (AWS) of employees into the information system of the Moscow Regional Perinatal Center.

The work processes of the Center's employees, in particular, maintaining electronic medical records, prescribing medicines, etc., are closely related to the use of information technologies. Due to the increase in staff, the customer needed to equip the workplaces of new employees.

To select a contractor, an open competition was held among Russian computer suppliers and system integrators. Along with the price proposal, the competition commission evaluated the experience of candidates in creating similar solutions for state medical institutions. X-Com, which confirmed the competencies and offered the best conditions among the sites for the project, was recognized as the winner.

The project included a detailed analysis of the features of the work of the institutional information system, including software and hardware, network and client equipment, as well as operational processes. Based on the received data , recommendations to the composition of the AWS were developed and technical specifications were compiled, including detailed requirements for the hardware and software parts of the solution.

WS configurations were formed individually for each specialist, based on the specifics and scope of his tasks, as well as the necessary set of peripheral equipment and application software. The use of X-Com in-house computers in the project made it possible to develop the appropriate solution with the best price/performance ratio.

The AWS has been integrated into the customer's turnkey IT infrastructure, including setup and the entire range of commissioning activities. All X-Com computers are accompanied by a three-year warranty. As part of the service contract, the company solves any problems with the equipment.
