Nokia will provide equipment from its latest portfolio of AirScale radio systems, all of which operate on the basis of energy-efficient technology ReefShark System-on-Chip. This deal includes 5G RAN, AirScale base stations, and Nokia AirScale radio access products, including the Single RAN portfolio for both indoor and outdoor coverage. These solutions will provide faster speeds and greater mobile coverage. Nokia will also have to provide digital design. The company will be required to provide its optimization and technical support services.

The Nokia AirScale portfolio of radio stations supports all 2G, 3G, FDD and TDD 4G and 5G radio access technologies, as well as numerous frequency bands. AirScale 8T8R radio head with formation of a beam provides the general output radio-frequency power of 320 W in several operating modes. Nokia also represents the new connected baseband payments on the basis of SoC for increase in capacity of the system AirScale module. The new ReefShark-based plug-in cards provide up to eight times more bandwidth and serve up to eight times more cells than previous generations.

T-2 is one of the largest telecommunications providers in Slovenia and recently received frequencies in the 2100 MHz and 2300 MHz bands at a spectrum auction in Slovenia. Nokia is a long-standing supplier and key strategic supplier to T-2.[1]
