The Software base AI was introduced into the tour booking system, which made the booking process quick and convenient. Managers no longer need to enter passport documents data manually - the document is automatically recognized in less than a second and data from it are entered into the fields of the completed application for tours. This was announced on October 27, 2021 by Smart Engines.

The software product introduced in the HT.KZ travel agency was developed by Russian scientists from Smart Engines. It allows you to recognize foreign passports issued in the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries of the world, which are necessary for passing passport control. The HT.KZ tour booking system uses a server-based implementation of document recognition, which provides high accuracy and speed of data extraction on photos and scans of documents.

The procedure for recognizing passport data using Smart Engines technologies is safe for the user, since the recognition library works autonomously inside the HT.KZ information loop and document images are not transferred for processing to third-party services. The introduction of the passport recognition library into the tour booking system was carried out independently by HT.KZ IT specialists.

As of October 2021, more than 60 HT.KZ managers work in the tour reservation system in offices located in Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Shymkent and Petropavlovsk. At the next stage of cooperation, it is planned to use Smart Engines document recognition technologies to sell airline tickets and to independently book tours by customers in the company's mobile application.
