In 1987 the Finnish company Tekla Corporation developed the new complex software product for the enterprises of the electric networks which received the name Tekla Xpower later.

Tekla Xpower is a network information system (NIS) intended for management of working assets of the energy companies (both electric power distribution, and the centralized heat supply and cooling). The Tekla Xpower system consists of a ready data model, the database and the configured set of applications and functions.

Tekla Xpower includes the following modules:

The Tekla Xpower system is intended for service of specific needs of the energy companies on management of all their processes on all lifecycle of network, but not just for one-time providing tools under the separate project. Using these means the distribution enterprises can improve the processes, increase efficiency of planning, support and operation of network and round the clock to provide services to clients.

Tekla Xpower is the system which is completely configured under customer requirements. However it represents the ready-made solution which can also be used without special settings.

The software of Tekla Xpower is used more than in 70 companies in 8 countries of the world.
