Cloud4Y announced on November 2, 2021 that it provides Smart Clinic IaaS services.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for medical services, including those provided by private clinics, has increased significantly. The lack of local infrastructure performance and the need for rapid scaling have forced medical institutions to abandon the usual approach to organizing the IT infrastructure in favor of cloud solutions. Among them was Smart Clinic, which works with a large number of patients, and therefore needs reliable protection of their data.

Smart Clinic contacted Cloud4Y to rent a virtual infrastructure according to the IaaS model and close the issue of storing personal data. Since the exact amount of resources was unknown, the provider provided the clinic with free test access to the infrastructure. This solution made it possible to identify the real need of the medical institution for cloud resources, as well as to eliminate in advance the possible difficulties that inevitably arise when migrating the local infrastructure to the cloud.

In addition, a virtual infrastructure training course has been developed for Smart Clinic employees. This allowed the head of the medical institution to decide on further cooperation with Cloud4Y.

The cloud provider provided the clinic with productive virtual equipment, and as part of the Cloud FZ-152 service, a closed cloud circuit with all the necessary security certificates from the FSB and FSTEK. Cloud4Y engineers helped set up virtual infrastructure and software for the clinic to work comfortably, organized the migration of local infrastructure to the cloud.

Migration to the Cloud4Y protected cloud helped Smart Clinic avoid violations related to the storage of personal data of Russian citizens. The availability of certificates UZ1-4, 1K, 1G confirms that the platform of the enterprise cloud provider is suitable for hosting confidential data up to the first (highest) level of security inclusive. Thus, the issue of the proper level of protection of personal data by companies storing data in the Cloud4Y cloud is closed.
