Maxxium Russia is a Russian division of the international alliance of two strong alcohol companies - Beam Suntory Inc. and The Edrington. He owns the brands The Macallan, Jim Beam, Highland Park, Courvoisier and others.

Previously, Maxxium employees used an analytical system developed on the basis of Microsoft SQL Server 2012. However, over time, it became difficult to maintain and develop it. In addition, the system ceased to meet the requests of specialists in the financial department and employees of the sales and marketing department, since it did not contain all the data necessary to implement the company's strategy and perform operational tasks. It was decided to implement an up-to-date analytical solution that quickly processes and gives data to users.

The project was implemented by Navicon. Its specialists over the past six months have developed an analytical system based on the version of Microsoft SQL Server. It includes two blocks - finance and sales. Specialists from the relevant departments can monitor and analyze income and expenditure information on a daily basis, including in the form of P&L reports, analyze various financial indicators, compare actual sales with the budget and forecasts, and analyze data on primary sales in detail.

Maxxium employees were also interested in obtaining visual reporting based on data from the developed analytical system. To do this, Navicon introduced the Microsoft Power BI cloud solution in the company. Now, using simple tools and more than 30 report forms, Maxxium specialists can independently generate reports, including mobile ones, with varying degrees of detail.
