2021: Use of electronic voting service

V. A. Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences used the electronic service votes WE.Vote to award degrees Remote votes of dissertation councils are implemented in full compliance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. WE.Vote was used by the institute for voting dissertation councils of up to 21 people. In the future, the institute plans to expand the use of WE.Vote to other councils and commissions that solve various issues of the organization through votes.

In 2021, the Higher Attestation Commission, based on the tense epidemiological situation in the world, updated the list of requirements for meetings of dissertation councils. In accordance with them, a scientific organization must provide the possibility of remote voting according to the established regulations to all members of dissertation councils who do not want or are not able to attend meetings in person.
