I-Teco has deployed a seal management system at Tomskneftekhim

2021: Implementation of YSoft-based accounting and print management system SafeQ 6

I-Teco specialists implemented a project to introduce a recording and printing management system based on POYSoft SafeQ 6 in a Russian polymer production enterprise of Tomskneftekhim LLC. This became known on November 22, 2021.

The print management system monitors the use of printing by each employee and department of the enterprise, which allows you to plan and optimize the costs of organizing printing and prepare the transition to the service model of service delivery by the IT department. The use of a single press infrastructure by employees of different legal entities complicated the task.

The system improves data security by preventing access to paper copies of sensitive documents that are "forgotten" on network shared print devices. In this regard, during the implementation of the recording and printing control system, each such printing device was equipped with an authorization terminal, and documents "forgotten" by users ceased to appear and accumulate near the printing devices.

The following print policies have been implemented:

• setting up access of users of a number of legal entities only to the printing devices allocated to them,
• prevents certain categories of users from printing in color and single-sided mode, automatically works were displayed only in duplex mode,
• prevents certain user categories from printing more than the specified number of pages
• Prevents certain categories of users from printing monochrome prints on color printing devices.

As a result of the implementation of the project, the entire Tomskneftekhim press infrastructure was connected to the YSoft system, complex organizational press policies were introduced that provide the necessary requirements for data security and fault tolerance. The SafeQ technology allows printing on any device. The introduced system has increased the convenience of using printing equipment, "said Alexander Nikitenko, manager of the IT and communications services management department of Sibur Digital LLC.

The implementation of the printing management system allows you to optimize the number of units of equipment, in a single circuit quickly monitor the technical condition of the fleet of printing devices, timely repair and maintenance, preventing downtime in operation.
