The Federal Property Management Agency together with the Presidential Academy is preparing its employees for the transition to Russian software
2021: Plan to prepare 1000 employees for the transition to Russian software
On November 23, 2021, RANEPA announced that it would prepare 1000 employees of the Federal Property Management Agency for planned migration to Russian office software. The program "Issues of using domestic office software," which was launched in 2021 by the Higher School of Public Administration of the RANEPA, has already passed 120 federal civil servants.
At its site, the Academy brought together developers of domestic software - the company MyOffice and "R7," the Association of Software Product Developers (ARPP) "Domestic Software," as well as representatives of the public sector with experience in using Russian software products.
The transition of state bodies and state companies to domestic software products is a matter of national security. In order for us to be able to conduct an independent domestic and foreign information policy, manage our own information resources, guarantee electronic and information security, digital sovereignty of the state is necessary, said Renat Lashin, Executive Director of ARPP Domestic Software.

For us, this is a very important task, since it is through participation in such programs that civil servants remove prejudice against domestic solutions and the opportunity "first-hand," from developers to learn about all the advantages of the products offered, Svetlana Evarovich, Director of the Center for Professional Development of Public Servants of the Higher School of Economics and Science, RANEPA, emphasized.

During the training, employees of the Federal Property Management Agency learn about the components of digital sovereignty and import substitution in the field of IT solutions, get acquainted with the operating systems of the Linux family, and also acquire skills in working with the suite of office applications MyOffice and "P7." In addition, as part of the course, 300 managers and 700 employees of various structures of the Federal Property Management Agency will receive methodological recommendations on how to make the transition to domestic office software fast, comfortable and safe for employees.
The introduction of domestic IT solutions in the field of public administration will be effective only if all participants are ready for change. Therefore, Russian developers of office software create all the conditions for the effective implementation of domestic solutions in the IT infrastructure of state bodies.
We not only develop and deliver software, but also conduct an audit of the customer's IT infrastructure, develop consolidation and migration scenarios, prepare government employees to work on new software for them - organize training, advise, provide technical and methodological support, added Director General MyOffice Dmitry Komissarov.
