In November 2021, Mosavtosanthrans, subordinate to the Moscow Department of Health, launched a tender for the purchase of ambulances in the amount of 620 million rubles.

In accordance with the documentation published in the unified information system in the field of procurement, it is planned to purchase 20 domestic assembly machines with basic equipment for transporting the patient, a wheelbarrow, a cabinet for medical equipment, a climate control system, pipelines and wiring for a medical gas system.

The winner of the competition will have to deliver vehicles from December 27, 2021 to March 31, 2022. Mandatory warranty for equipment - 2 years.

Moscow buys ambulances for 620 million rubles

The fact that Moscow will purchase 200 modern ambulances became known in early July 2021. Then the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, signed the corresponding decree, which allocated a subsidy of 620 million rubles for the implementation of the project.

Ambulance in Moscow is provided by more than a thousand teams, specialists perform 11-12 thousand trips per day.

During the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, ambulance staff work with increased load. They not only provide medical care at home and carry out medical evacuation, but also deliver patients to hospitals and outpatient CT centers.

Earlier, Moscow purchased 300 new ambulances - four-wheel drive vehicles Ford, Mercedes and GAZ class B. They are equipped with modern equipment to assist in emergency and severe situations, including head injuries, severe injuries in traffic accidents, strokes and heart attacks.

The Government of the Russian Federation, at the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, ordered to allocate at least 7.5 billion rubles from the reserve fund for the purchase of more than 2 thousand ambulances.[1]
