PhosAgro company completed an important stage in creation of a uniform corporate information system based on Oracle E-Business Suite

Moscow, Russia, 2010 – the PhosAgro company, the producer of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, largest in Russia, the international company BearingPoint providing consulting services in the field of management and information technologies and Oracle corporation inform on successful start in commercial operation of a corporate information system based on Oracle® E-Business Suite at two the chemical companies, largest in Russia: JSC Ammofos and JSC Cherepovets Azot (Cherepovets, Vologda region).

The project of full-scale system implementation Oracle E-Business Suite covered all key business processes of the enterprises for the following directions: supply and stocks, sale, continuous production, finance, accounting and tax accounting, IFRS, budgeting.

Staff of the enterprises of PhosAgro holding and consultants of BearingPoint company entered into project team. Involvement in it of key experts and experts from PhosAgro company became one of pacing factors of success of this project.

During the project reorganization and unification of business processes of the enterprises participating in the project was made and the complete solution on integration of the Oracle E-Buisness Suite system with production and transport information systems is developed.

Start of a system was carried out to commercial operation at the same time at two enterprises. In a system 900 users work that makes 14% of manpower ceiling of the enterprises participating in the project. Works on completion of all transition processes and stabilization of a system were complete in April, 2010.

The project is an important milestone in development of a corporate information system of PhosAgro. Following the results each employee of three largest enterprises can already use the Oracle E-Business Suite system as the tool for accomplishment of the current duties. In general in a corporate information system of holding more than 2.000 users work.

The project in many respects became unique. First, this simultaneous system implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite at two largest chemical companies in Russia; secondly, start was carried out by a connection method to the industrial copy of a system which is already working in JSC Apatit to commercial operation; in the third, the ERP system was completely integrated with production and transport information systems.

On April 6, 2011 it is announced the beginning of the project of replication of a corporate information system on the basis of Oracle E-Business Suite at two chemical companies: PK Agro-Cherepovets LLC (Cherepovets, Vologda region) and Balakovo mineral Fertilizers LLC (Balakovo, Saratov region).

The project of full-scale replication of a corporate information system covers all key business processes of the enterprises for the following directions: supply and stocks, sale, continuous production, finance, accounting and tax accounting, IFRS, budgeting.

The contractor of the project selected BearingPoint company as the team of consultants participating in implementation of the previous project on system implementation at the enterprises of the Cherepovets platform PhosAgro in 2008-2010 showed high professionalism and deep understanding of specifics of business of PhosAgro company.

Main objective of the project is consolidation of all large enterprises of PhosAgro company within a uniform corporate information system. During the beginning project this task will be finally complete, namely PK Agro-Cherepovets LLC and Balakovo mineral Fertilizers LLC will be connected to already working system. Implementation of this project will allow to create conditions for transition of PhosAgro group to higher level of management due to use of a uniform corporate information system of resource management of the enterprise.

Among features of the project there are implementation deadlines due to use of the function models debugged on the previous project. According to the plan of the project start in commercial operation at the PK Agro-Cherepovets LLC enterprise is planned in two and a half months after the beginning of works on replication. Start at the second enterprise is planned for November, 2011. In commercial operation it will be launched by method of connection to already working industrial copy of a system.

The project of full-scale replication was preceded by long and successful history of program implementation of creation of a uniform corporate information system of PhosAgro holding in 2006 - 2010. The implementation project on JSC Apatit which was complete in April, 2008 became the first stage in the program. The project on creation of a corporate information system at two enterprises of PhosAgro holding to Cherepovets — JSC Ammofos and JSC Cherepovets Azot executed by consultants of BearingPoint company was the second stage. The second stage of the program was successfully completed in May, 2010, and by this moment three largest enterprises of PhosAgro holding were included in a uniform circuit of a corporate information system.
