2021: Arrest on charges of fraud and abuse of authority

In early December 2021, the Leninsky District Court of Orenburg arrested the head of the Bureau of Forensic Medicine of the Orenburg Region Andrei Gromov on charges of fraud and abuse of authority.

According to the voiced materials in court, at least three witnesses testified against Andrei Gromov. One of his subordinates said that paid ritual services were provided in the regional bureau of forensic medical examination, and the relatives of the deceased transferred money for them to the employee's card, from where he transferred them to another card allegedly indicated by Andrei Gromov.

The head of the Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination of Orenburg Gromov Andrei was arrested on charges of major theft

According to the source "Ленты.ру" in law enforcement, Gromov and his accomplices created a whole business on the bodies of the dead - they forced the relatives of the deceased to conclude contracts for cosmetics for corpses and other services.

Thus, according to investigators, he received an income of 500 thousand rubles. Also in court was called another amount of criminal income of 150 thousand rubles. On one of the charges, we are talking about acts as part of a group of people, but nothing is known about the other defendants in the case.

Andrei Gromov himself does not agree with all the accusations. He told reporters during the break that with his arrival at the post over the year, the bureau's income grew 6 times, which, in his opinion, may not like someone.

Before me, this money was stolen. Now they are entering the state treasury. And many do not like it, very many: former employees, ritual agents who are used to working in black, "he said.

Fraudulent actions in the morgue of Orenburg could be committed by several people, and not only the head of the bureau of forensic medical examination of the Orenburg region Andrei Gromov, who was detained by law enforcement officers on December 1. This was stated by public figure Roman Psyker on December 2, 2021 in an interview with Izvestia[1]
