Honor laptops will help LizaAlert volunteers in the search for missing people throughout Russia

On December 7, 2021, Honor and the Lisa Alert volunteer search and rescue squad announced joint initiatives to find missing people.

"We are pleased to announce cooperation with LizaAlert, one of the volunteer movements uniting people throughout Russia. Just a year ago, HONOR became an independent company, and from the very beginning of our development we headed for maximum adaptation to the local market and the development of socially responsible business. I am sure that technology and our devices will not only make the search for the missing more effective, but will also help prevent tragedies, "said Elena Loseva, marketing director at HONOR.

The volunteer search and rescue squad "LizaAlert" is engaged in the prompt search for missing people in the natural environment and in the city, carries out and coordinates the search, makes legislative initiatives, holds exhibitions, training and educational events. The LizaAlert detachment is presented for December 2021 in 63 regions of Russia. In 2020, the detachment received 31,988 applications for the search for missing people throughout Russia. Of these, 23,273 people were found alive, 6,871 died.

When searching for missing people, the LizaAlert operational headquarters need not only human, but also technical resources: laptops and smartphones, light and transportable, with a high level of autonomy, which is especially important in the field. LizaAlert has already managed to evaluate the effective work on HONOR laptops: in October 2021, the first safety training for volunteers in difficult situations took place under the Young Fighter Course program using HONOR MagicBook laptops .

We have techniques, knowledge, specialists, but lack technical equipment, especially in the regions. Every year, the number of applications for the search for missing people grows, and each time it indicates how much we need to grow faster technically. Both technology and equipment will help to be even more effective, which means to increase the chances of missing people to live. We thank HONOR for successfully starting a partnership and for providing us with laptops during the recent exercise. We hope for long-term, effective and large-scale cooperation, especially in terms of equipping our regional detachments, "said Grigory Sergeyev, chairman of the LizaAlert detachment.

In the future, the examination of HONOR as a supplier of intelligent devices will contribute to improving the efficiency of searches, in particular, coordinating the work of headquarters and collecting data on missing persons using the most modern technology.

The cooperation of HONOR and LizaAlert will not be limited to the provision of devices: within the framework of a long-term partnership, it is planned to implement a number of initiatives to information and communication support the search squad, conduct joint events with the involvement of experts and opinion leaders, create training materials designed to increase awareness of the general public about measures to prevent loss of people and sequence of actions in case of loss of a person.

Special attention will be paid to those regions where the largest number of people disappear annually, in particular the Kemerovo, Samara, Novosibirsk, Novgorod regions.

In the future, HONOR and LizaAlert plan to expand partnerships and develop projects in which modern intelligent devices can not only increase the efficiency of searching for people, but also prevent loss.
