The specialists of Gazprom's subsidiary created a concept and developed a wide range of analytical modules in key areas of the enterprise's activities - the production and transportation of highly toxic raw materials for processing.

The "intelligent field" optimizes the systems of development, production and preparation of hydrocarbon raw materials and allows to control processes in the Astrakhan field by implementing logic inference algorithms based on the use of knowledge processing technologies. This implementation allows you to automatically control the technological process of gas-liquid mixture (GHS) production due to the principles of situational management with the inclusion of Java platform functions.

Gazprom moves from Oracle software to Russian Java

The system monitors the operation of wells and gas pre-treatment plants without the participation of a person who only controls the smart system using built intelligent man-machine interfaces.

"Intelligent field" allows increasing production efficiency due to the use of high-tech solutions and mathematical models, which are dependencies between the main technological parameters in the form of procedures for interaction of information flows. And as a result - to optimize the operation of field wells and pipeline systems of the field, to reduce the consumption of purified gas at well heaters, to reduce emissions to the atmosphere.

Gazprom Prey Astrakhan uses a version of Java Liberica JDK Pro with Liberica FX technology, which, as stated in the BellSoft, implemented an effective, thoughtful and flexible approach that allows you to create new generation graphical interfaces.

It is also noted that the core of the project was automated systems for monitoring wellhead parameters and gas hydrodynamic studies and monitoring the composition of the formation gas condensate mixture AGCM, accounting for failures of process equipment and systems of telemechanics, analytical control and analysis of associated waters, composition of formation gas, organic samples, deposits, corrosion inhibitor, coolant, as well as intelligent subsystems, optimizing operating modes of wells based on analysis of process parameters of flow rate, pressure, temperature, proactive prediction and prevention of unplanned losses.[1]

The project, developed by Gazprom Dobra Astrakhan's own team, scales without significant time and financial costs, since the core of the Java virtual machine can be transferred to all known computer platforms of any enterprise in the industry that has intelligent equipment and the necessary digital infrastructure.

When creating the conceptual framework for software solutions and automated tools, one of the key issues was the choice of the Java development environment. The determining factors were the domestic origin of Liberica JDK Pro and full compliance with the Java SE standard. Together, these parameters guarantee easy migration, uninterrupted operation of the Intellectual Field management systems and the elimination of sanctions risks. Timely release of up-to-date versions and security updates meets information security requirements for high-criticality systems used in the gas production complex, and access to engineering expertise BellSoft provides the possibility of consultation in the native language 24/7.

As part of the implementation of Gazprom's import substitution program and the requirements of Federal Law No. 187-FZ "On the Security of Critical Information Infrastructure of the Russian Federation," the software and technical complex "Control of Mouth Parameters and Gas Hydrodynamic Studies of the Astrakhan GKM" was the first of the functional blocks to be transferred from Oracle Java, which was originally used to implement architectural solutions of intelligent control systems. The seamless transition to Liberica JDK Pro on the principle of "drop off replacement" was carried out by gas engineers without additional training. The Liberica JDK Pro distribution in 2020 was included in the register of technological products for implementation at Gazprom.
