RT-Invest: Bottle reception fandomats

2021: Rostec has begun production of bottle receiving terminals for subsequent processing

In December 2021, Rostec"" announced the mass production of terminals for the reception of aluminum cans and plastic bottles for subsequent processing. The production of such equipment was established at the plant RT-Invest"" ("daughter" Rostec"") in Klimovsk near Moscow.

The production workshop with an area of ​ ​ more than 1000 m ² produces 50 devices per week, capacity is planned to increase. It takes two to three days to assemble one fandomat. More than 80% of all components (hulls, steel structures, modules, sensors, lubricators, motors, magnetic components) are produced in Russia.

The entire volume of secondary material resources unloaded from the fandomates does not require additional sorting. This is 100% pure plastic and aluminum - the device does not accept contaminated and liquid-filled containers. The fandomat automatically recognizes the material from which the container is made and sends it to one of the two compartments. To fit as much volume as possible inside, a special built-in compression mechanism is used.

According to Rostec, the devices are connected to the regional monitoring system, thanks to this, a single operator of eco-points quickly exports raw materials. All resources collected are directed to the production of new goods. Aluminium cans can be recycled without loss of quality. They will produce new containers for drinks, cutlery or automotive parts. Polymers will become a raw material for the production of synthetic fabric, sleeping bags and winter clothing insulation.

It is planned that from 2023 RT-Invest will process all plastic bottles from fandomates at its own enterprise and produce "green" PET granule.

Earlier, RT-Invest in pilot mode produced fandomats and installed several dozen terminals in the regions.^[1]
