2021: High Load Rack Cooling Solution in Data Center
On December 7, 2021, the company, HTS official distributor conditioners Stulz in, Russia introduced a solution for coolings high-load racks DPC in using CyberRack from Stulz. This solution saves space data center in and cools the air exactly where it is needed.
Recently, data center operators have become increasingly interested in how to increase computing power. Accordingly, there is a growing trend in demand for high-load rack solutions. In order to avoid hot spots in the data center, the task of the air conditioning system in such cases is to ensure the target cooling of the racks without generating heat into the room.
For more efficient cooling of highly loaded racks, Stulz developed the CyberRack solution - a special module with a heat exchanger and EU fans, which is installed on the rear door of the server rack, cooling the heated air of the servers to the desired room temperature until it leaves the server rack.
The principle of the module CyberRack as follows: with the help of an integrated heat exchanger, the air conditioner cools the servers directly where heat is released, preventing hot air from entering the room. Due to this principle, there are no hot spots in the room and there is no need to isolate hot and cold air.
The module design includes individual adapter frames that ensure the suitability of this solution for any struts: sizes with heights of 42 U and 48 U and widths of 600 mm and 800 mm are available. After replacing the server rack door with an adapter frame, the CyberRack can be hung on the adapter frame and connected to pipelines.
HTS experts note a number of features of this solution: existing racks in the data center can be additionally loaded with servers, and at the same time additional air conditioners do not need to be installed, the CyberRack module can provide the necessary cooling. In addition, such a solution has a compact size, does not take up space inside the racks, which allows you to save space and put the racks in front of each other.
