CPT of the Borlas Group has finalized the accounting system at Composite

2023: Revision of the accounting system based on 1C: Accounting 8 KORP

The Center for Digital Transformation of the Borlas Group (CPT of the Borlas Group) has implemented the refinement of the accounting system based on the 1C: Accounting 8 KORP configuration for Composite JSC, a supplier of materials for the rocket and space industry. Borlas Group of Companies announced this on May 24, 2023.

Composite JSC has created a significant reserve in the field of materials for space rocket technology, technologies for their production and processing. The materials produced by the enterprise are used in space projects: Salyut, Soyuz, JSC «Proton», Mir, Energia-Buran, Vega, Phobos, and the International Space Station.

Prior to the start of the work, the company "Composite" JSC used the accounting system on the platform "1C: Enterprise 7.7." The main drawback of the system was the lack of support for this version of the software from the developer - 1C. The chief accountant of Composite JSC decided to switch to another accounting system on the 1C: Accounting 8 CORP platform version 3.0.

The CPT of the Borlas Group was chosen by the company to help refine the new system. At the start, the CCT specialists conducted a survey, gave an opinion and determined the necessary amount of work. The initial settings of the industry accounting solution were created, assistance was provided when entering balances, data was transferred from the historical automation system.

Also, the specialists of the Borlas Group CPT developed a methodology for specific features of accounting and control in the automation system, created interfaces and sets of user rights, performed technical implementation of specific features of accounting and control in the automation system and integration with other systems.

At the stage of pilot operation of the system, specialists of the Central Center of the Borlas Group supported users and conducted additional training of accounting employees of Composite JSC. In 2023, the industrial operation of the implemented system began.

For May 2023, consultations of accounting users and refinement of the system in those parts where necessary continue: transfer of data on materials in warehouses, distribution of costs, additional equalization of balances, assistance in the formation of annual and quarterly reports of Composite JSC.

One of the key features of the project was the preparation of data for the subsequent formation of reports using the add-on "Subsystem of separate accounting of BARS." Thanks to this, Composite JSC will soon be able to form reports using the information system, and stop "collecting" MS Excel reports on the State Defense Order, - said Valery Tikunov, project manager of the Central Center of the Borlas Group.

As a result, in JSC "Composite" internal accounting was optimized. The company got the opportunity to work in the current information system, which meets the standards and requirements imposed by the state on enterprises of the strategic industry.

2021: Translation of accounting into "1C: Accounting" version 8.3

On December 9, 2021, the Borlas Group and Composite JSC announced that they had launched a project to transfer the customer's accounting from version 1C: Accounting 7.7 to 1C: Accounting 8.3. The work is expected to be completed in December 2021. After the system is put into commercial operation, it is planned to provide functional support and technical support services. As of December 9, a survey of business processes has already been carried out and a transition to the main part of the project has been made.

The current system of Composite JSC, implemented on the basis of 1C: Accounting Department version 7.7, has been seriously redesigned to meet the customer's needs for working with state and defense orders. Updating the system according to the requirements of the legislation entails significant labor costs. To obtain the possibility of automatic updates and increase the efficiency of the system, it was decided to switch to the current (for December 2021) version of the software with minimal modifications. In the version adapted to the tasks of Composite JSC, special functionality will be implemented to ensure separate accounting as part of working with the state defense order.

Vladimir Nikolaevich, Head of the Automation Department of Composite JSC, noted: "We already have a positive experience of cooperation with the Borlas Group within the framework of the technical support project. 1S:ZUP In this project, the solution proposed by Borlas API LLC fully takes into account the specifics of our business and today's realities. We hope that upon completion of all work, we will be able to enter 2022 with a accounting system that is as consistent as possible with our tasks. "

Alexander Frolov, Director of Practice 1C of the Borlas Group, stressed: "At the exit, the customer will be able to maintain accounting and tax records in the current version of the software product and will without restrictions use all the vendor's capabilities for regular updates and support."
