On December 8, 2021, the Chinese company Baidu released a smart fitness mirror with an AI trainer. The novelty is equipped with a Smart Lord screen, which looks like a mirror in full height.

The Smart Fitness Mirror product is a mirror with a height of an average person. When turned off, the device practically does not differ from the usual mirror, but when activated, the system turns into a professional fitness trainer, the developers say. When turned on, a 43-inch screen with an IPS matrix built in under the mirror lights up. The screen shows a virtual trainer with artificial intelligence, which in real time helps users to perform various exercises, as well as numerous training modes.

The mirror provides an internal social ecosystem with the ability to connect through the [[4G] LTE network to train, interact with AI, share their sports achievements with other users in the process, as well as communicate with friends.

Baidu fitness mirror is equipped with a special wide-angle dynamic sensor. The mirror can also record images 2K at a rate of 60 FPS, which improves image quality by 40% under low illumination conditions and maintains an ultra-wide angle of 144 °.

The device has an integrated 8-core processor with a computing power of 3 TOPS, which is used by AI. Smart Fitness Mirror can also recognize the movements of the human body, thereby determining whether these movements meet the requirements of the exercise and correct the user's actions during training.

The Baidu Smart Fitness Mirror is available in two versions: basic, worth $662, and advanced, for which you will have to pay $740.^[1]
