Out-patient clinic of Spaso-Preobrazhenskoye of Valaam Monastery

The center of telemedicine is constructed based on new out-patient clinic of Spaso-Preobrazhenskoye of Valaam Monastery with assistance of Andrew the First-Called's Fund, the Center of national glory of Russia and the Russian leader in the field of telemedicine – JSC "Russian Railways". In the opened center teleconsultations for monks, the wordly population are already carried out, pilgrims and tourists – annually to the island of Valaam there arrive more than 110 thousand human. For the first two weeks of work of the telemedicine center specialists of out-patient clinic organized more than 20 teleconferences: with Road clinical hospital (St. Petersburg) and the Central clinical hospitals No. 1 and 2 of JSC "Russian Railways" (Moscow), with Republican hospital of V.A. Baranov (Petrozavodsk), with city clinical hospital No. 67 (Moscow).
