Voronezh region and Rosatom implement a project to digitalize regional management

2021: Start of pilot operation of the Regional State Data Management System

In the Voronezh region, the pilot operation of the Regional State Data Management System (RSUD) begins. The system was created by the Department of Digital Development of the Voronezh Region together with RuSat Infrastructure Solutions JSC (RIR, part of the Rosatom State Corporation) as part of the regional project Digital State Management of the national program Digital Economy of Russia. It is designed to digitalize public administration and will help the regional government by analyzing data on the life of the region faster and better make management decisions, bring interaction with residents and business to a new level. This was announced by RIR on December 16, 2021.

Integrated with departmental information systems of the Voronezh region, RSUD creates uniform rules for working with data, accelerating the collection of data on the implementation of national projects in the region, improving the quality of analytics for planning and monitoring the implementation of state functions in the sectors of agriculture, industry, and the social sphere.

We trained representatives of local governments to work in the system, reporting information in the field of trade was successfully provided to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade of the region. It is already obvious that the labor costs of collecting data using RSDS are significantly reduced. And this is only part of the effects expected from the implementation of the system. We expect a significant increase in the efficiency of working with information and the effectiveness of management processes, "said Denis Volkov, head of the digital development department of the Voronezh region.

When designing the system, the most important tasks were to take into account the composition of data and the sources of their receipt, monitor the quality of data, as well as receive data generated in information systems of various authorities. It took several months to survey the information infrastructure, design and launch the system, in fact, it takes about a year to do this. This was done due to experience, a professional team, competent project management, "said Anton Kirinyuk, project manager from the RIR.
