A feature of Monopoly Group of Companies is the unification of several business areas in its structure. The priority due to the greatest profitability for the company was the digital platform Monopoly.Online, which combines the most necessary services for organizing transportation - search for cargo and carrier, card-free fuel processing, etc transport of goods automobile. And the youngest area of ​ ​ activity is the rental of trucks with the possibility of their further redemption.

The key criterion in choosing a planning system was the maximum flexibility of the software, which allows you to implement arbitrary planning algorithms, evaluate the result, update, create new scenarios with other data. Equally important is the ability of users to independently rebuild the model.

As of December 2021, a medium-term planning and forecasting model has already been created for the following business units:

  • trucking - freight transportation by own fleet;
  • fuel - service of fuel sale to external freight carriers;
  • goods - transportation by external partners;
  • ISP project - transfer of couplings for rent,

as well as a consolidated model by company.

So, according to the business unit "traction" you can quickly compare and evaluate the effectiveness of tractor models of different years of production and mileage, analyze patterns and take them into account in the next budget period. In this case, the system not only accumulates operational data and statistics, but also forms a standard system, for example, the number of requests, which must be processed by one logist or sold by one seller in the context of business types.

To account for the sale of fuel to partners, the system downloads information on the volume of fuel consumed, the characteristics of vehicles, as well as statistics on the customer base - breakdown by segments taking into account the attraction factor, retention, reactivation of the old base, the use of effects on services (several services can be sold to the same customers), the number of such customers and their activity on different products.

To form information cubes, Optimacros uses data from a single data store, where information comes from the ERP system and digital platform. The system as of December 2021 already contains about 150 thousand applications, characteristics of 2600 pieces of equipment, hundreds of thousands of travel sheets.

Specialists of ATOMS Consulting develop a strategic financial model with a planning horizon of 5 years. It is based on the norms, assumptions and drivers formed in models by business units, to which forecasts for changes in market volumes are added.

It is planned to create a personnel management model, which will be implemented in three stages: personnel planning and a remuneration fund, revision of the grades and bonuses system, as well as rationing and forecasting of key personnel-related costs.

In addition, a number of promising tasks have been identified that need to be solved in the near future. First, the development of the medium-term planning model in terms of improving the accuracy of overhead planning by rationing them and increasing the degree of detail. Secondly, business management mechanisms need to be improved through key metrics: CPA/CPO, LTV, etc. And thirdly, it is advisable to implement a transition to a process planning model that will help optimize the cost of company transactions.
