2022: Launch of a separate mobile application

On September 19, 2022, Tinkoff announced the launch of a separate mobile application of the Academy of Investments, an educational platform developed to improve the financial literacy of the country's residents in the field of investment.

According to the company, the platform is available to any users, and not just Tinkoff Investments customers. The Academy includes both its own courses and methodological developments of Tinkoff Investments, as well as programs of partners - leading universities, exchanges, industry associations, and so on.

The Tinkoff Investment Academy mobile application includes more than 20 educational courses on the stock market, financial instruments, macroeconomics and analytics, various video projects.

The app is free and available for download on Google Play and the App Store.

The Mobile Investment Academy interface consists of the Ribbon, Library and Video sections.

At the first stage, in the "Library" section, the following are available:

• 21 education courses on finance and investment with illustrations, self-test questions, tasks and a final exam. Some of the courses are available to all users, some to Tinkoff Investments clients.
• More than 10 articles with facts, instructions and useful tips for investors and those who only plan to open a brokerage account.
• Calculator of IIS (individual investment account), which will allow calculating the possible return on IIS.
• Video with securities analysis and market news from the show "Money Does Not Sleep," as well as interviews with experts from Tinkoff Private Talks.
• Tests that form securities recommendations based on user responses.

Library

In the "Video" section, users can watch thematic programs - news from companies and markets, as well as interviews with well-known economists, investors and entrepreneurs. In the future, podcasts, video courses and investment guides will appear here.

The feed offers the user popular sections of the application, courses, articles and the latest issues of thematic YouTube programs.

Tape

In the updated version of the Academy of Investments, users have access to an updated course "Investor Path," developed by the Moscow Exchange. ​​Kurs allows them to gain basic skills in effective investment - from understanding the risks of working in the market to knowing their rights by investors. In the updated edition, it was supplemented and restarted together with experts from Tinkoff Investments.

The Investor Path course was launched in 2021 by the Moscow Exchange School with expert support from the Bank of Russia on the methodology of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). The course "Investor Path" was the first training program to receive accreditation from the Association for the Development of Financial Literacy (ARFG).

The updated version of the course "Investor Path" updated the content, optimized the logical structure, added graphs, illustrations and questions for self-testing.

The theoretical part outlines the key principles of equity management and the principles of the stock market. In total, four mini-courses will be available to students: "We plan finance," "Analysis of investment products," "Preparing for transactions" and "We defend against fraudsters." After studying them, access to the exam will open. Passing the course is a successful test - the correct answers to the minimum number of questions.

Investor path

Until 2022, financial literacy was not taught in educational institutions, and in universities it was an additional subject. Without proper preparation, the population solves its financial issues blindly. Therefore, at the end of 2021, we launched free educational courses of the Academy of Investments in the Tinkoff Investments application. And when almost a million of our clients began to take courses, we decided to launch a separate mobile application for all Russian investors. 2021: Launch of the "Academy of Investments"

On December 24, 2021, Tinkoff announced the launch of the Academy of Investments, an all-Russian educational initiative aimed at improving the financial literacy of the country's residents.

The Investment Academy will become an aggregator of courses on finance and educational programs in the field of investment in Russia. It will combine various initiatives for the development of financial literacy - Tinkoff Investments own courses and methodological developments, as well as content from strategic partners:

• economic departments of universities in Russia and the world;
• industry association initiatives;
• key market players - the Moscow and St. Petersburg Exchange, as well as the largest analytical companies and investment houses.

Users will have access to educational materials about the stock market, financial instruments, money management, macroeconomics and analytics - podcasts, video tutorials of leading world experts, UGC content of the Pulse social network and other formats of educational programs.

Within the framework of the Academy, specialized and adapted programs are being developed for various groups of the population: schoolchildren, students, specialists, older people - all those who need to increase their level of investment literacy and increase their knowledge of economics and finance.

Academy courses and projects will be available not only to Tinkoff customers, but also to all residents of the country. The educational initiative was launched as part of the implementation of the ESG strategy of Tinkoff Investments to improve the financial literacy of the Russian population. For the development of the "Academy" in Tinkoff Investments, a methodological center has been created - the Department of Knowledge, which will develop educational programs.

"Academy" will be constantly supplemented with new courses and other formats of educational content. Materials for professional investors will appear in the near future.
