History

2021: Nordcurrent bought RinGames

At the end of December 2021, it became known about the sale of RinGames to one of the largest Lithuanian game developers Nordcurrent. The value of the transaction of the company is not disclosed.

Under the terms of the contract, the RinGames team of 28 people will join the Ukrainian studio Nordcurrent Dnipro, which in 2022 plans to increase its staff to 100 employees. By the end of December 2021, Nordcurrent Dnipro is searching for and recruiting game developers.

It is noted that previously the companies worked closely for more than 8 years. RinGames participated in the creation of graphics for Nordcurrent products such as Cooking Fever, Sniper Arena, Murder in the Alps, etc.

According to the managing director of the RinGames Tatyana Margolina, after joining Nordcurrent, the studio will be able to expand its competencies and use them to create world-class games.

RinGames became the second Ukrainian game studio to be absorbed by Nordcurrent. In 2018, Nordcurrent acquired Blam! Games Studio, based in Odessa and at that time had a staff of 60 employees.[1]
