WillMore completed an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in "M2M Telematike"

The WillMore company announced in the summer of 2010 conclusion of an agreement with M2M Telematics Group within which system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is performed. The first stage of the project during which the main functionality of a system is implemented is at the moment completed.

"At the beginning of our work we approached automation as to the solution of separate business challenges therefore we formed the whole complex of the systems requiring at the moment a full integration. Operational tracking of information – one of the key moments in activity of M2M Telematics Group. Therefore during the tender we selected not a system, and the partner who could propose the complete solution for automation of our main business processes. According to the results of the tender WillMore proposed the most optimal and interesting solution based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV", - the marketing director of "telematics M2M" Hadonova Svetlana comments.

Consultants of WillMore completed an analysis stage of business processes of M2M Telematics Group company within which were investigated information and technology, territorial and holding structure of the company and also functional requirements to a system are developed and the plan of carrying out the complex project is offered.

During a stage of Analysis the main objectives on automation of activity of group are revealed:

  • receiving management information for decision making;
  • increase in the service level of clients due to quick reaction on a request;
  • management of providing complex services in customer service;
  • tracking of compliance of effected payments to the fact of deliveries;
  • assessment of amount of raw materials and finished goods in production;
  • minimizing of level of manual information processing.


The Microsoft Dynamics NAV system became the tool for customer interaction on which all information and the history of actions is stored. In Microsoft Dynamics NAV the base of storage of templates of standard documents is organized that considerably simplified process of document flow in M2M Telematics Group.

Earlier M2M Telematics Group used the CRM system which gradually ceased to cope with the increasing information volume. The company management made the decision to use the module of the CRM system Microsoft Dynamics NAV which allowed to automate work of sales departments, marketing and customer service. Thanks to integration with a financial system in the CRM module the possibility of viewing financial data on the client appeared: payments, shipments. For security of the database differentiation of access rights to different levels of information was configured.

A system allows to trace sources of involvement of the new client on the basis of which it is possible to estimate efficiency of the waged marketing campaigns.

Premises for automation of a production process of the company became:

  • complexity in assessment of amount of raw materials and finished goods in production;
  • lack of accurate control of compliance of the written-off Inventories and the credited finished goods;
  • mismatch of consumption rates of Inventories for production of finished goods with a real expense that, in

the queue, leads to discrepancy of data of accounting and warehouse accounting;

  • lack of cost allocation of production on finished goods.

Within the next stage of an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV using the Production block planning of assembly steps and control of completion dates will be performed. Industrial automation will allow to distribute additional costs on cost value and also to calculate cost value of finished goods on the basis of the actual expense.

Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV has the high level of importance and for the service department rendering several types of service which can conditionally be separated on:

  • standard services (software installation and terminals; technical and information support; replacement of the equipment, etc.)
  • data services (telematics).

Maintenance entities are dispatcher stations, terminals and servers of clients. All information is stored in Microsoft Dynamics NAV on the movement of terminals on clients now.


In addition to the main functionality of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system production and service department were automated.

Using the Production block planning of assembly steps and control of completion dates and also distribution of additional costs to cost value and cost accounting of finished goods on the basis of the actual expense is performed.

Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV had the high level of importance and for the service department rendering several types of service which can conditionally be separated on:

  • standard services (software installation and terminals; technical and information support; replacement of the equipment, etc.)
  • data services (telematics).

Maintenance entities are dispatcher stations, terminals and servers of clients. All information on the movement of terminals on clients is stored in Microsoft Dynamics NAV now.

During an implementation project of Microsoft Dynamics NAV import of serial serial numbers from Microsoft Office of Excel was configured thanks to what loading process of an order 500-that series takes only several seconds and is performed using several clicks.

Implementation of the module WillMore Advanced Financial Reporting expanding possibilities of formation of financial statements became one of stages of the project. As a result the Telematics M2M financial service got additional benefits:

  • setup of report generation according to any tables;
  • flexible filtering and setup of information representation;
  • preserving of simplicity of report settings without use of development tools.

Advantages of use of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system in M2M Telematics group began to be felt practically at once.

Speed of drawing of accounts to clients by 4 times increased. Besides, if before the account only accountant officers exposed, then now and managers can create accounts and send them to end customers.

Thanks to change of the statuses of accounts reaction of the manager to transfer of the order in department of pre-sale preparation was reduced twice. With respect thereto and with implementation of an internal system of requests for pre-sale preparation, formation of shipments increased by 3 times. The department of pre-sale preparation began to learn about need of preparation of shipments of goods quickly, online. As requests form in electronic form, percent of the "lost" information significantly there was an opportunity to adequately distribute working and temporary resources.
