MOSGAS implements GLONASS

M2M Telematics Group within an implementation project of a monitoring system and control of vehicles based on GLONASS, until the end of 2010 will unroll a single system of control of location and control of mobile vehicles SUE MOSGAS.

The exchange service stations M2M-Cyber GLX equip vehicles, for monitoring and fleet management the dispatching service is created. In 2011 further equipment of vehicles SUE MOSGAS is planned.

In total it is supposed to install about 500 terminals that will allow managers to control movement of transport in real time and to react quickly to emergencies. In an equipment set on unit of motor transport there is a disturbing button, the system of a voice communication of the driver with dispatching service and also the fuel flow sensor. According to forecasts of representatives of M2M Telematics Group, expense reduction on fuels and lubricants for 40-50% will become collateral, but important result of system implementation.

Experience of implementation of navigation and information systems on the basis of GLONASS on large enterprises shows high cost efficiency of implementation due to cost reduction on fuel and lubricants, optimization of operation of the equipment, an exception of unauthorized idle times. The possibility of operational management of transport is important in the housing-and-municipal sphere at emergence non-staff or emergencies.
