2021: Implementation of contactless access system for company employees

On December 29, 2021, the company VisionLabs announced that at the headquarters of AFK Sistema, one of the largest Russian public financial corporations, smart office scenarios based on computer vision technologies from VisionLabs were implemented. More than 120 biometric terminals installed in the building of AFK Sistema in Moscow on Mokhovaya Street provide contactless access at the aisle, in offices, meeting rooms and office premises. Employees no longer need to use physical passes - the system instantly identifies a person by face.

The headquarters of AFK Sistema constantly employs more than 250 people. To create a secure environment in the corporate office, a pass system was required in which employees would not have to constantly carry a pass with them. Biometric access technologies from VisionLabs helped to implement a corporate barrier-free environment.

A quick and contactless method of identifying visitors opens turnstiles and unlocks magnetic locks based on facial recognition results. The system detects the face and extracts the biometric template: if a person is in the base, the passage will be allowed. In addition, the team VisionLabs implemented protection against spoofing attacks: Liveness algorithms check whether the person in front of the camera is real, excluding the use of printed photos or video from the screen of another device.

VisionLabs solutions automate not only access to the premises, but also the system of storing and issuing keys. This protects against unauthorized access and optimizes the management of the organization's key base through electronic logging.

In addition, the use computer sight in access control makes it possible to issue a personal pass for both employees and contracting organizations even remotely - it is enough to add a photo and the necessary ones data to the database. This reduces the cost of issuing plastic passes and makes it impossible to transfer them to outsiders.

VisionLabs technology allows you to identify a person by face even if you have a mask, glasses, headgear or hood.
