2022: Body Scan Smart Weights Announcement

On January 3, 2022, the developer of digital smart devices for health and well-being Withings presents new Body Scan smart scales with an integrated electrocardiogram (ECG) removal function. The device is also able to analyze the composition of the body (fat, muscle mass, water, etc.), track heart rate and vascular age.

Smart scales are equipped with a hardened glass platform and a retractable handle for ECG. Four weight sensors and 14 indium and tin oxide electrodes are built into the platform, as well as an additional set of stainless steel electrodes in the handle. Withings claims that with normal use, the battery will serve the user for a whole year, and the built-in 3.2-inch display will instantly display the results, as well as synchronize with the Apple Health application.

Body Scan smart scales will go on sale in the second half of 2022 at a price of $299.95. The device will be presented in white and black and will be delivered with a free three-month subscription to the program for optimal indicators for the human body.^[1]
