To obtain a more efficient production system, SNIIP-Systematom CJSC improves key processes of product lifecycle management with the help of Appius-PLM. This was announced on January 12, 2022 by Appius.

CJSC "SNIIP-Systematom" is engaged in the development, manufacture, supply, commissioning, implementation and maintenance of equipment and protection systems of nuclear power plants around the world. In its activities, the company has long been using the development of APPIUS, the developer of PLM solutions on the 1C: Enterprise platform, starting with the implementation of the Appius-PDM system.

In September 2021, SNIIP-Systematom CJSC switched to the current version of Appius-PLM Product Lifecycle Management 2021, continuing to improve the automation of design preparation and ordering of components for production.

As part of the update, APPIUS specialists converted the modifications of the system solution, configured the data exchange between Appius-PLM and the 1C: Integrated Automation (1C: KA) system used at the enterprise. The company actively uses the functionality of the ERP component in order to quickly prepare information for transfer to the 1C: KA system (to generate specifications for product items).

A subsystem for incoming control of purchased products was developed specifically for the enterprise. Automation of this mandatory process will solve the problem of passing incoming control for all products used in the buyer's order.

In addition, for production tasks, a product composition comparison module was added to the Appius-PLM complex, which allows you to track detailed compositions of the same product fixed on different dates.

Among the advantages of the comprehensive approach of Appius-PLM + 1C: KA, the SNIIP-Systematom enterprise also notes "a convenient interface and full-fledged operation in thin client mode."
