2021: Installation of 20 MFPs Konica Minolta
Multifunctional devices Konica Minolta under the control of the Dispatcher Paragon IT solution began work at the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums. The launch of 21 machines was carried out by specialists from Konica Minolta, which announced this on January 13, 2022.
The institute's stock of printed devices consisted of more than 100 printed devices. Having decided to update the print infrastructure, the organization management began to search for a provider of complex solutions. With additional equipment, it was planned to optimize the fleet of devices and transfer printing costs from capital to operating ones, as well as abandon desktop printers and multifunctional A4 devices. Another goal of the project was to implement a single software for monitoring and managing printing, which would eventually reduce the burden on IT specialists.
The leadership of the institute chose Konica Minolta. Before the launch of the project, the IT company conducted an audit, in which it studied in detail the printing infrastructure of the institute. The study made it possible to choose the most suitable equipment for the customer.
Optimization of the printing infrastructure of the institute took place in several stages. As part of the pilot project, the MFP for printing the A3 format was installed in the accounting department. Then Konica Minolta specialists updated the rest of the equipment. Dispatcher Paragon, a modern software solution from Konica Minolta, now helps the institute manage printing and optimize its costs. Further scaling of the printing infrastructure in the production building of the institute will also take place using this product.
