Interra: Deeplow Technology for Depth Control

2022: Creating a Solution

Interra has developed a product for monitoring the deepening of agricultural tools. The solution is based on Galileosky terminals and Easy Logic technology. The Deeplow product allows you to control and adjust the operation of agricultural machinery to increase yields. This was announced on January 20, 2022 by Galileosky.

The Interra company was contacted by a sugar beet producer with a request to control the rate of deepening of the plow during plowing of soil. The customer annually lost part of the crop due to violation of soil treatment parameters: the deviation of the excavation tool by half a centimeter led to the fact that root crops grew in different sizes. Some did not accumulate the right amount of sugar, and it was difficult to collect them. Violation of technology resulted in large financial losses for the enterprise.

Interra experts conducted a series of in-depth interviews and determined that many agricultural producers lose part of the crop due to violation of soil treatment parameters. Specialists have created a Deeplow solution to solve this problem.

The process stack of the product includes Galileosky 7x terminals, Easy Logic software, the Wialon platform, the Deeplow software application and sensor sets selected for different types of units. The product allows you to control the depth of immersion of tools during soil treatment with high accuracy. The peculiarity of the solution is that it takes into account the individual features of different aggregates. The set of sensors is selected taking into account the design features of the technique. The received information is collected and processed by the controller. The Galileosky controller with Easy Logic technology is responsible for information collection, initial processing and tracking.

Deeplow processes and filters the received data directly on board the unit. The machine operator immediately receives information and can adjust the operation of the equipment. Thus, high accuracy of operation of the aggregates is achieved, even when plant residues get into the measurement area.
