2021: Identification of critical locations in the current warehouse operation

The purpose of the project was to identify critical locations in the current work of the warehouse, prepare proposals and recommendations for optimizing the current warehouse business processes, improving the efficiency of cargo flow processing, and optimizing the warehouse topology. The survey recorded deviations that are potentially "growth zones" - areas that need to be worked out in terms of improving warehouse efficiency. Based on the identified problems, step-by-step recommendations for their elimination are given. During the audit, the Inventory Unit Directory (SKU), inbound and outbound flows were analyzed. Based on the identified features and analytical calculations, as well as taking into account the specifics of the technological processes, 2 options for changing the warehouse topology with drawings, a detailed description of the type sizes of the rack structure, calculation of the number of cells, and an assessment of their applicability were proposed.
