Biography

Mikhail was born on August 3, 1950 in Leningrad.

In 1973 graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Aviation Instrument Making (LIAIM) in Radio engineering.

Till 1978 worked as the engineer, serviced laboratory complexes at department of the LIAP radio engineering systems.

In 1978 passed to work into the sector of development of systems of automatic speech recognition of the Leningrad Scientific Research Institute Dalnyaya Svyaz.

In the late eighties, in cooperation with colleagues and adherents, Hitrov got to independent work in the field of a speech research. Orders from the All-Russian Society of Blind People (ARSBP) arrived.

In 1991 Mikhail Hitrov became the CEO of Center of Speech Technologies company.

In 2014 Mikhail Vasilyevich passed to a position of the chairman of the board of directors of "The center of speech technologies". Dmitry Dyrmovsky is appointed the CEO of the company.

Achievements

• Founder and chairman of the board of directors of Center of Speech Technologies company, Candidate of Technical Sciences. Vice president of consortium "Russian Speech Technologies", member of ISCA, IEEE.
• In October, 2009 Mikhail Vasilyevich Hitrov received a rank "Chief of Year" in the "Chief Innovation in the IT Industry" nomination.
• In November, 2011 Hitrov won a victory in the Information Technologies nomination of the competition "Entrepreneur of Year 2011" held by the leading international auditing and consulting company "Ernst & Young".
• In 2012 won the Information technologies nomination of the annual award "TOP 100" (the organizer against Business St. Petersburg).
• In 2013 owner of the award "CEO".
