Performance indicators

2021: Multi-Fold Sales Growth

Optiplane (part of the Group SIGMA. Novosibirsk"" investment network of the Infrastructure educational and Programs Fund of the Group Rusnano"") - one of Russian the manufacturers unmanned rotors for - industries summed financial up the results for 2021: sales growth compared to 2020 increased several times. This was announced by the Rusnano Group on January 25, 2022.

An increase in performance in 2021 provided an updated strategy: expanding production and concluding contracts with partner companies both in terms of production and sales.

Since 2021, Optiplane Design Bureau has been increasing cooperation with geodetic equipment dealers, with private product agents in the regions of Russia and the CIS, as well as with production partners who have extensive experience in producing the necessary components for rotors. This approach allows for uninterrupted deliveries and long-term planning for subsequent production increases.

It is planned that another driver of development in 2022 will be the expansion of the model range. We are already accepting applications for rotors with a range of up to 90 km. The updated rotorcraft model is still more maneuverable than aircraft and is one of the farthest eVTOL drones with vertical take-off and landing for geodesy and marketing. The Optiplane drone is also used in areas such as line communications and quarry design, power lines and perimeter monitoring, and other areas. This absolutely answers the market's request, more than two-thirds of procurement in the field of state contracts is associated with monitoring flights beyond line of sight, "said Kirill Yakovchenko, CEO of Optiplane.

The UAV market quickly went to strong growth and large-scale use. In terms of distribution by industry, we see the lion's share of work related to infrastructure monitoring, with flights beyond line of sight. More and more drones are required that can fly around large areas and fly for a long time, "commented Ruslan Titov, Director General of the ROSNANO Group Infrastructure and Educational Programs Fund.

The industry remains young, but begins to attract serious investments by large players, including chip manufacturers and military departments. The boundaries between military and civilian UAVs are erased. It is expected that commercial "draining" in the future will create jobs, provide profit.
