2021: Opening of the Centre for Maternal and Child Health

In Surgut, the Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood was launched. This was announced by Medical Imaging Systems on February 3, 2022.

The "clean" premises in the Center were created by Hospitaltechnik, and the operating rooms became "smart" thanks to Medical Imaging Systems.

From December 15, 2021, the consultation and diagnostic department, the catamnesis department, the ultrasound diagnostics department, the clinical and diagnostic laboratory began to receive patients, on December 25, the first births were taken at the Center for Maternal and Child Health, and on December 28, the first gynecological operation was successfully performed here.

The center is designed for 10 thousand births per year and will be able to simultaneously take more than 300 pregnant women, women in labor and maternity. In total, the area of ​ ​ the perinatal center is more than 78 thousand square meters.

The peculiarity of the center is in the use of genetic technologies that help predict the development of diseases, and most importantly, make a timely correction. Thus, the department of reproductive technologies will develop pre-implantation diagnostics aimed at the prevention of congenital diseases.
