2022: Opening of production

Roselectronika Holding of Rostec State Corporation will launch the production of domestic LED lamps equipped with microwave sensors of movement and illumination. The devices are designed for use in the field of housing and communal services and allow you to save electricity. This was announced by Roselectronics on February 4, 2022.

Production will be deployed at the Tomsk Research Institute of Semiconductor Devices (part of Roselectronics). The company created experimental samples of three types of products - a motion sensor with a power relay, an 18 W LED dust-proof lamp and a 12 W LED lamp with an E27 basement with an integrated microwave motion sensor and an illumination sensor.

When using motion sensors in the general house lighting system, energy savings are achieved due to the fact that the light is turned on only for the duration of people in the vestibules, elevator halls, and staircases. Moreover, it is LED lamps that are optimal for use in the field of housing and communal services - they are not sensitive to frequent switching on and off, have good light output and a long service life. A feature of the microwave motion sensor, compared to the more common infrared sensors, is the long range and reliability of operation, the ability to "see" through glass and plastic doors.

Lighting devices using unified microwave motion sensors are an extremely popular product, taking into account their long service life and the ability to save consumers energy costs. NIIPP has considerable experience in the production of LED lamps and is ready to establish mass production of these products within six months. With a production capacity of 500 thousand units per year, the cost of one lamp will be 20% lower than a foreign device of similar quality, "said Andrei Chendarov, Deputy General Director for Technological Development of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (management company of Roselectronika Holding).
