2021: More than 4,000 Tele2 users registered in SmartGIS

As of the 2nd quarter of 2021, more than 4,000 Tele2 users were registered in the SmartGIS, about half of which use it daily. SmartGIS provides high speed and quality of processing and registration of calls, performing more than 10,000 operations of mining analysis per day on objective and up-to-date data about the network at points of call of subscribers.

2020: Implementation of the mapping tool SmartGIS

In August 2017, according to the results of the tender, the TORUS Maps platform was selected for the implementation of the SmartGIS project, a mapping tool for simplifying and automating the processes of registering and processing subscriber calls, improving the quality of responses and reducing the load on all service lines, as well as for solving various technical problems by operation and planning services.

The project included 2 stages of implementation over 3 years:

  1. Start basic capabilities for contact centers, CEM, operation, planning.
  2. Enhance system capabilities with functions and integrations for development and optimization. business processes Tele2

In 2018, an analysis module appeared that made it possible to optimize the work of contact center employees, as well as a module for calculating coverage cards. During the expansion of 2019-2020, opportunities appeared to analyze high-resolution traffic maps and quickly receive data on the level of deterioration of coverage and on affected subscribers, as well as new integrations with Tele2 business systems.

SmartGIS

SmartGIS was fully implemented and put into operation in the fall of 2020. As a result of the implementation, Tele2 received a web GIS of tool that allowed:

  • speed up identification of problems of technical nature of subscribers and reduce preparation of responses to calls of subscribers
  • Optimize network quality control
  • for analysis and publication on the official website to ensure prompt calculation of coatings and maps of distribution of subscribers/traffic taking into account current changes on the network
  • automatically determine the emergency areas, the deterioration of the quality of coverage in them, as well as the number and composition of subscribers affected by the accident
  • create a unified view of the network for different divisions of the company
