2022: Issue of the updated car

The updated Opel Astra comes off the conveyor of the plant in Rüsselsheim. The company Stellantis announced this on February 10, 2022.

The five-door Astra will reach customers in the spring of 2022 and will first be offered in the form of a plug-in hybrid, and in 2023 the program will be replenished by Astra-e powered by an electric battery.

This Opel Astra incorporates all the features of the brand design: dynamic more than ever before, with clear, energetic lines without any unnecessary decorations and with the updated "face" of Opel Vizor. The model features a high level of technology and driver assistance systems, bringing to the compact class those innovations that were previously available only to owners of higher classes of cars. So, the Astra is equipped with the latest generation of non-blind adaptive pixel headlights Intelli-Lux LED. This system is borrowed from Opel flagships, Insignia and Grandland models, and is a leader in the compact and medium class thanks to the use of 168 LED elements.

The Pure Panel fully digital cockpit allows you to forget about analog devices. Instead, a man-machine interface with a fresh and up-to-date appearance offers intuitive control with a large touch screen. Important settings, such as the climate system, can still be made directly by a few switches and controllers.

The front seats of their own design received the certificate of the association of orthopedic doctors AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken e. V.) and provide convenience even on long-distance trips. Support for the driver is provided by the latest help systems - from a projection display to a round-robin system called Intelli-Vision.
