2022: Registration in the register of medical devices of the Russian Federation

The procedure of the State registration of hearing aids "NOTA" has been completed, the device is included in the register of medical devices of the Russian Federation. Now hearing aids produced on the territory of the Octava electroacoustic plant (part of the Rostec State Corporation) will go on sale. This was announced by the manufacturer on February 15, 2022.

According to the, to data WHO 10% of the population of the earth requires hearing correction. Almost a third of people need hearing aids after 65 years, but less than half of patients use them, and less than 20% are satisfied. According to the Russian diversification strategy, at the end of 2020 it was decided to begin work on the launch of Russian-designed hearing aids into mass production.

Our partner, R&D Center 'Octava DM', is responsible for development in the civilian segment, promotion and export, creation of creative and reliable solutions in the field of audio processing. On January 27, 2022, the company received Registration Certificate No. RZN 2022/16434 for hearing aids. This product has long been expected by potential consumers, so the priority of this development was at the highest level, thanks to which it was possible to optimize the duration of the project, "said Pavel Pavlenko, general director of the Octava plant.

The volume of the Russian market for hearing therapy equipment annually increases by 10% and amounts to about 300 thousand devices per year. Professionals-surdologists are already familiar with experimental samples of NOTA hearing aids.

In the economy class and the average price segment, NOTA hearing aids will become one of the most powerful in signal level. Deliveries will be made from the warehouse in Russia, which is an additional plus. Earlier, Octava DM created a production site, began assembling a series of digital hearing aids, and a portfolio of pre-orders is being formed.
