On February 10, 2022, it became known that the state-owned company Дом.РФ, formerly known as the Agency for Mortgage Housing Lending (AHML), and now the financial institute for the development of Russia in the housing sector, intends to consolidate its external and internal data within the framework of a single Russian software platform.

The purpose of the launched project is to create a single corporate platform for management, analytical, operational reporting in various areas of activity of the functional blocks of the organization on the basis of a single architecture, a single methodology for reporting and unified business processes.

To achieve this goal, the organization chose the product stack of the Russian company Arena, although it allows the use of completely identical software, which should also be registered in the register of domestic software under the Ministry of Digital Arts.

The stack includes a distributed massively parallel analytical one. DBMS ArenadataDB It is built on an open-platform MPP system source code ON GreenplumDB and is designed for storages processing and processing - up to large amounts of information dozens of petabytes.

Another element of the stack is the cluster column analytical DBMS Arena QuickMarts. It was created on the Yandex ClickHouse platform, with corporate support, enhanced functionality and additional quality control of releases.

In analytical DBMS, unlike the common transactional ones in the market, the response time of the system is not regulated, so the user often has the opportunity to interrupt the running query for too long or divide the calculations into shorter stages. In addition, the allowable dimensions of the analytical database are usually larger than the transactional one.

The third element of the stack of the ADS Kafka message processing platform. Доме.РФ believes that it effectively solves the problems of the corporate data exchange bus - it is able to receive and process data from numerous external systems, store it for the time required for business and return it to consumers with the optimal load for them. ADS is implemented on the open platform Apache Kafka.

Such a wide range of InformSystems developed by different vendors to solve similar or related problems in the circuit of one organization in the Russian IT market is historically called the "zoo." This informal definition reflects the complexity of single management of heterogeneous solutions, but does not have negative product-specific assessments. The representatives of "Дома.РФ" emphasize that they have no complaints about the above-mentioned programs used.

A purchase is made to consolidate the data from all the systems involved, because the current storage and processing solution's technological stack "does not meet all the requirements of a modern solution for a single group data warehouse."

"Thus," Дом.РФ "does not abandon the systems" 1C, "" Diasoft, "" New Athena "and CFT, does not change them, but creates the next level of add-ons over these systems - aggregates data from these systems into a single data warehouse," summed up representatives of "Дом.РФ."

The need to implement the platform in "Доме.РФ" is explained by the fact that at the beginning of February 2022 the company faces a number of problems when working with existing software in the field of corporate reporting. These problems are related to the high fragmentation of the data contained, their insufficient quality and a number of other factors that reduce the performance of data analysis. In this regard, the state-owned company plans to change its approach to building corporate repositories.

"As of February 10, 2022, management and analytical reporting is formed from various information systems, such as 1C, Flextera, Athena, KHD , CFT , EHD, which entails labor-intensive process and reduced operational data acquisition," noted representatives of "Дом.РФ."

The CFT here means the decisions of the Novosibirsk company "Center for Financial Technologies," by "Athena" - the products of the company "New Athena," the capital developer of the automated banking system of the same name, by Flextera - the solutions of the company "Diasoft." As for CCD and ECD, it is simply a corporate and unified data warehouse that are not products of any particular vendor.

Дом.РФ plans to purchase indefinite licenses for Arenata software (or a hypothetical equivalent) during a competitive tender procedure, which was launched by the company on February 8, 2022 in the format of an open electronic auction. The initial maximum contract price is set at 154.9 million rubles.

Applications from applicants will be accepted until February 24, 2022. Bidding is scheduled for March 2. The winner will have to deliver the license within 10 working days from the date of conclusion of the contract.^[1]
