In Uraltransmash company one of important stages of system implementation "Galaktika ERP" comes to the end. Within this stage the main objectives of accounting and tax accounting are automated. Within a month this functionality is going to be brought into commercial operation. System implementation is executed by a team of IT specialists of the enterprise and specialists of the Ural regional department of Galaktika corporation.

Using the ERP system at the enterprise problems of logistics management are already automated (the movement of materials, finished goods, settlings with suppliers and contractors, maintaining the customer base of data, accounting and planning of contacts); personnel management and payroll.

Earlier at the enterprise for accounting of financial and economic activity the separate tasks developed for machines of a class of the EU by computers which technology of work allowed to obtain information on the movement and a remaining balance of Inventories, finished goods, settlings with partners only based on data processing in a month were used. There was no opportunity to quickly trace a status of current assets and the relations with partners. With respect thereto the decision on system implementation "Galaktika ERP" was made.

The choice of a system and its supplier was influenced substantially by two factors: the first - existence of the certificates certifying the high level of confidential information protection, the second - positive experience of the Ural department of Galaktika corporation with large enterprises of different industries.

At the enterprise treat the main results of implementation of the ERP system:

  • creation of a common information space and possibility of maintaining uniform base of the normative reference information;
  • timely obtaining reliable and consistent information about financial business activities of the enterprise;
  • possibility of continuous and total reflection on accounts of accounting of all economic transactions on the basis of primary documents;
  • control of level of warehouse stocks on more than 20,000 nomenclature positions;
  • control of receivables and payables on more than 1,000 partners;
  • control of regular filling at more than 4,000 rates;
  • control of payments according to financial liabilities.

In a project deliverable timely compensation of the VAT increased by 9 times; strict control of settlings with partners by agreements and finance documents is provided; document flow at intra factory movement of workers was reduced by 8 times.

In March of the current year works on automation of problems of planning and production management are begun. These works are going to be completed at the beginning of 2011.
