The SensoRehab complex from SensoMed, a resident of the Skolkovo Foundation, will be used in the scientific and practical Center for Medical Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine of the Moscow Department of Health and the Center for Medical Rehabilitation of Sechenov University. The results of testing showed that the effectiveness of treatment increases 2.5 times compared to classical methods. This was announced by the Skolkovo Foundation on February 16, 2022.

The development consists of three parts: the Senso Glove ultra-precise smart glove, a rehabilitation technique created by practicing rehabilitation doctors, and a set of cognitive games. Sensors and sensors in the glove allow you to track the movements of your hand and fingers in any direction, and games restore small motor skills and speed up the rehabilitation process psychosomatically.

As of February 2022, we achieved a stable version of the product with clear competitive advantages over analogues, including: high device accuracy, allowing patients with even minimal motor capabilities (from 1 degree) to undergo rehabilitation, three-channel biological feedback and synchronization of patient data between devices. said Alexander Polishchuk, technical director of SensoMed.

Clinical trials and work on product improvement were carried out jointly with leading rehabilitologists of Russia and the world for three years.

The study involved 60 patients from the Center. Of these, 36 people with diseases of the central nervous system, 24 patients with diseases of the peripheral nervous system. During the study, improvements in the subject-manipulative activity of the hand were noted, as well as an improvement in the cognitive status and emotional state of patients. SensoRehab helps reduce staff time by reducing operating time per patient, noted Irena Pognchenkova, Director of the Scientific and Practical Center for Medical Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation and sports medicine Department of Health of Moscow.

Studies based on our center involved 74 patients, 61 of whom with diseases of the central nervous system, 13 with diseases of the peripheral nervous system. After SensoRehab sessions, a pattern was identified between increased rehabilitation potential and reduced treatment time. The development also supports a high level of motivation, which is very important when working with children, added Konstantin Ternova, director of the Center for Medical Rehabilitation of Sechenov University, Ph.D., associate professor.

Patients will have the opportunity to use the product both in clinics and at home: the software can be downloaded to any computer, and the application interface is convenient and understandable.

SensoRehab passed the test in the leading rehabilitation centers of Russia, and pilot tests confirmed its effectiveness. Positive feedback and recommendations were received from leading experts in the field of neurorehabilitation.
