2022: Start of work in the Russian Federation

In February 2022, it became known about the launch in Russia of a service for searching for photographers and video operators for professional shooting. The product called PhotoRoomer was developed by the company of the same name (based in the UAE, founded by Olga Golubeva) and Tages.

The application helps to search for snapshooters - photographers who are close to the user at a certain point in time and are ready to come in order to conduct a professional photo shoot in everyday conditions. The application is looking for a free photographer by analogy with the work of taxi aggregators.

If there is no snapshooter nearby, the user can write to the photographer who likes it and book the shooting at a convenient time.

In Russia, a service has been launched to search for a professional for shooting

The user of the application can view the profiles of photographers, study their portfolio and rate for work. The service forms their rating.

Photographers, in turn, can add information about their work, styles that they use, location data and languages ​ ​ that they speak to the profile. The performer may also publish a list of services provided and assign a special tag to the provider to make it easier for customers to find a suitable photographer or video operator.

The user can choose the shooting genre and the language in which he will communicate with the photographer, as well as indicate the preferred skills of the professional (retoucher and video editing). You can add content to your favorites.

In the application you can also find popular locations for interesting photo shoots.

By mid-February 2022, a beta version of the application PhotoRoomer available to residents of Moscow and Dubai. In the future, developers promise to expand the geography of the service. The solution will allow market participants to earn money on freelance, and those who want to order a shoot - to do it quickly and conveniently.^[1]
