2022: 16-channel EZ-IP-NVR1C16HS/H with 4K resolution
The range of IP DVRs of the EZ-IP budget line was supplemented by the 16-channel model EZ-NVR1C16HS/H. It supports the maximum number of IP channels among EZ-IP DVRs and a complete set of codecs, including both standard H.265 and H.264, as well as optimized H.265 + and H.264 +, which provide a higher level of compression without loss of quality. This was announced on February 16, 2022 in Dahua Technology.
The EZ-NVR1C16HS/H model involves the connection of up to 16 IP video cameras with a resolution 4K that is 4 times higher than HD 1080p, which has become the de facto standard in modern video cameras. 4K resolution offers high quality and granularity of the image, providing clarity when magnifying the recorded and live image.
However, for economical recording of video streams of this resolution, compression is required, which is provided by optimized H.265 + and H.264 + codecs. The IP DVR supports decoding of Dahua's own optimized codecs, as well as working with the SMD Plus intelligent motion detector implemented on the basis of IP video cameras. He can classify objects such as people and cars, and thanks to this, filters out false alarms caused by other objects.
videos hard drive SATA One 3.0 of up to 10 TB is supported for storage, and for viewing high-resolution 4K videos, the built-in power processor is enough to decode 1 channel at 25 k/s (or 4 channels with HD 1080p resolution at 25 k/s).
EZ-IP IP DVRs are affordable, easy to install, and operating and suitable for a variety of applications, e.g. to ensure the safety of apartments, small shops, warehouses, as well as in education and finance. They are compatible with many third-party IP cameras via ONVIF 2.4.
