2022: Audit of IT infrastructure, supply of computer equipment

On February 17, 2022, X-Com announced that it had scaled the information system of Kaluga State University named after K.E. Tsiolkovsky. As a result, the training audience and workplaces of the administration of the institution are equipped with computers that meet the requirements of the software used in the working processes .

As part of the project IT Infrastructure , the customer was audited, the peculiarities of his work processes and the requirements for computer equipment of the administration, teachers and students were analyzed. Based on the received data , a set of recommendations for the composition of the equipment was proposed, its detailed specifications were compiled and a technical project for the development of the university's information system was developed.

Specifically for this project, the production department of X-Com manufactured and delivered dozens of computers and workstations of various configurations. This approach made it possible to create a solution with an optimal price-performance ratio, as well as to implement a project with a minimum budget. For printout of educational and methodological materials, the solution includes Prince NP Designjet T520. All equipment is integrated into the IT infrastructure of the University, all necessary commissioning and testing are completed. The project was implemented in strict accordance with the contractual conditions in terms of scope, terms and warranty obligations.

The project was preceded by an open tender, in which the Russian manufacturers and suppliers of computer equipment and system integrators took part. When evaluating competitive bids, along with the price proposal, the experience of candidates in implementing similar projects for state educational institutions and scientific centers was evaluated. The winner was X-Com, which offered special conditions for the implementation of the project and service support of the solution.

The quality management system operating in X-Com, which complies with the international standard ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001-2008), in combination with a multi-level testing system at all stages of production, guarantees product quality. All equipment is subject to a three-year warranty. The developed X-Com service package and the constantly maintained spare parts warehouse guarantee the prompt resolution of any arising problems in the operation of the equipment.
